Negatyw - European Tour

NEGATYW was founded in the second half of 1998. Prior to its members worked together in othe local music formations SKOWYT and KURTYNA. NEGATYW's authors duo Darek and Mietall are responsible for the majority of its compositions. Silesian band from the beginning stepped its way designated by them "alternative" path. Primarily Negative have toured extensively - in the three years of existence the band played over a hundred of live concerts.
In the first half of 2001 they recorded a few songs for first demo. For one of them called “Amsterdam" they also realised video clip. The song is powerplay for many local radiostations in Poland. After five weeks of emissions song reached 2nd place at toplist of music station VIVA Poland and the playlist of MTV. NEGATYW decides to sign contract with Warner Music Poland.
At the end of 2001 the bans supports HEY at their Polish tour. On December 10 musicians enter the recording studio in Warsaw to record their debut album. It is called "Paczatarez" and it goes on sale on 4 March 2002. A week later, NEGATYW, which owes its success to concerts left homes for another tour ...

 In 2003 Mietall Waluś, NEGATYW vocal have recorded the song with K. Nosowska (from Hey band), for the “SI 031 Project” compilation. The band also recorded exclusive new track for Polish Radio 3 compilation. NEGATYW plays at the first edition of TOP TRENDY Festival. Band's second album "Remember” goes on sale in March 2004 and the first single, "Mam to co chciałem" reaches first place of most often emitted songs at Polish local radio stations. Unfortunately at the same time changes in politics of Warner Music worldwide effected with contract termination.

But on September the same year all five members enter S4 Studio in Warsaw to record new album, which is delivered to all stores on December 5 promoted by "Manchester" single. Next radio single with promotional music video for the song "Alone" was shotten in London. The effect was astounding.

In April 2006, the album "Manchester" is nominated as "alternative album of the year" in Polish National TVP1. After promotion campaign of the album "Manchester" Mietall Waluś recorded an excellent solo album under the name Mietall Waluś Magazine, from which the song "Slonce" were highly on all radio charts two years ago. On December 7, 2009 Negative moved to one of the best newcoming studios in the Poland, in the village to register there material for a fourth album. The result of the session are 11 melodic, rock songs with an interesting message (the whole disc as is usually recorded as usually in Polish). Whole recording session was recorded by video camera, which gave an accompanying climate of band during the recording in one hour documentary movie shown on DVD disc together with the full concert of NEGATYW in beatifull scenery of Silesian planetarium.
